PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Peter Taylor has practiced corporate, securities and transactional law since graduating from the UCLA School of Law and being admitted to the California Bar in 1995, first in Orange County, California, and from 2017 to 2023 in Boise, Idaho.  Mr. Taylor practiced with the Newport Beach and Tokyo offices of Morrison & Foerster LLP and then with Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth before starting his own practice in South Orange County in May 2005.  Mr. Taylor currently focuses on advising growing businesses in California from his new home in Indianapolis.

Mr. Taylor has advised clients ranging from companies that operate out of their garages to companies whose stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange.  He has advised on all manner of transactions, from contract negotiations to mega-mergers, from establishing stock option plans to IPO’s, from simple founder’s loans to $800 million syndicated credit facilities, and birth-to-$200 million exit client representations.  Mr. Taylor has extensive experience advising on the investor, intermediary and company sides of venture capital and private equity investments.  Mr. Taylor has also advised technology companies on intellectual property transactions such as license and SaaS agreements, and advised boards of directors of companies of all sizes on their fiduciary duties.  Today, Mr. Taylor offers his clients sophisticated business law advice at rates that growing companies can afford.
